2016 McCloud Bike-toberfest to Benefit GSRT

The McCloud Chamber of Commerce and the Great Shasta Rail Trail Association announced that the 2016 McCloud Bike-toberfest will be held September 24, 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM.  As in previous years, registration for this event will benefit the Great Shasta Rail Trail.  Claudette Silvera, President of the Chamber of Commerce, said that the Chamber recognizes that the GSRT will be a boon to McCloud, providing new recreation opportunities and attracting thousands of new visitors to the area. A portion of each entry fee will be donated to support the development of the trail.

The McCloud Bike-toberfest will include both mountain and road bike rides, with a short and long course for each ride, as well as professional cyclocross races.  In addition, there will be a children’s bike rodeo.  Downtown McCloud will feature booths offering food, music, beer, information, and other items.  Please click here for additional information and registration.
