THE TRAIL IS OPEN - BUT TAKE CARE

The National Forests have opened their roads, trails, and lands to the public, but fuels are still in a dry condition, so be careful.  Private forest lands adjacent to the trail remain closed to public use, so trail users should stay strictly on the trail when passing through private forests.  Mud Creek remains an issue as temperatures came back up and the glacier released more water and debris into the creek.  USE CAUTION around Mud Creek – flow could increase and flood the trail if the Mud Creek Bridge and culverts that normally carry the flow away become blocked.

Enjoy your fall hikes, bike rides, and/or horse rides!  It should be beautiful out there if there are no more fires or floods.
